Nichelle & Brian | Lincoln Park Zoo Wedding

Nichelle & Brian had their wedding at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago! Although from out of state, they thought that the Lincoln Park Zoo would be the perfect medium for all their friends and family to meet, since it’s right in the heart of the U.S.! Due to Nichelle working towards a graduates degree in primate studies they chose their wedding reception to take place at the Ape Room within the Regenstein Center for African Apes at the Lincoln Park Zoo. Part of the proceeds to event bookings at the Regenstein Center for African Apes go towards ape research. The Ape room set the perfect back drop for Nichelle & Brian’s very fun, relaxed & laid back wedding! There were even apes that sat out to watch as guests became piling into the room where they live. It was truly an amazing sight watching them watch us! Below are some of the photos from their Lincoln Park Zoo wedding.

Nichelle also customized many things at the wedding, some examples you will see are the boutonnieres which were made out of old worn out books, she also customized her wedding bouquet to include photos of beloved family members that could not attend the wedding. The personal touches & the incorporation of their personalities made the day that much more intimate & it was truly a pleasure to photograph! We were very happy to be a part of Nichelle & Brain’s wedding.
